This scenic and comfortable bungalows are on the Pai river near the bus station. Privacy and green surroundings are striking and one does not realize that one is right in town. They grown their own vegetables and fruits. Have home made jams and yoghurt, pizza and special Indian food.

Thai style wooden bungalows, comfortable, clean and quiet with river frontage and mountain views. Hot shower. 50 - 250 Baht.
In our garden we grow organic vegetables and fruit for our restaurant.
Golden Hut is situated 150 m east of the bus station, behind the temple on the Pai-River.

Impressions about Pai:

"Finally I got away from big cities and headed for Pai village. Tourists use Pai as a base camp for jungle treks. I went rafting really exciting! Other people took life easy, pedaled around near Pai. Cycling was fun. We saw old beautiful temples, hot springs, waterfalls and much more.

Villagers and hilltribes live together peacefully. Brilliant smiles everywhere.

Here I am, sitting at my terrace at the Golden Hut, overlooking the serene Pai river. The morning mist has just disappeared. Now I can see clearly the Pai river glittering. The sun came up behind that mountain, a sign of another day in paradise.

Oh! Jumbo is waiting for a ride through the jungle. Tonight I got to watch the hilltribes dance around the campfire.

PS. Don't worry about food here. They grow their own biological fruits and vegetables. They even have homemade jam and yoghurt. So I never miss my muesli fruit salad."
